We kinda did this project in Power Point
But well it is a story of how the term 'BIODIVERSITY' came to this world!!
Well... 'Biodiversity' is in the Form 2 syllabus chapter 3 ;D
Ok... so the funniest part where my whole class loved went like this...
*its starting now*
How did the word biodiversity come into?
•YAY!!! Story time!!! =]
•Once upon a time… a new baby was borned in the place called GREEK.
•That baby’s name was…
Spartan King Leonidas =O
•When he was borned .. The very first few words he learnt was ‘bios’ , ‘diversity’ , ‘this’, ‘is’ and ‘sparta’…
•And during that time… there was no name for all those living organisms!
•So… this Leonidas he thought of the few words he recently learnt… he said since ‘bios’ means life.. And ‘diversity’ means variety… He combined it and made biodiversity!
•He decided…. To call the individual living things… BIODIVERSITY
•He then decided to combine his 3 other words.. He first came up with… ‘thisparta’ he thought wow this sounds retarded… so he put them into a sentence and formed ‘THIS IS SPARTA!!!’
•And there you go the making of the word this is sparta and also biodiversity =]
HAHAHAHA its actually crap I made but well... it is actually true if u remove all of the '300'
parts like the Sparta king Leonidas and all XD
